Good Riddance, I say, and Welcome to 2021!

While still likely to pose challenges, the year starts out with much more hope and optimism.  Let's redouble our efforts to make difference to others who have suffered more than us and, as a club, make up for lost time.

Welcome Back From Susanne

Welcome back everyone!  And, as Dan said, may it hold greater things than last year and may we all move forward as best we can.  Here is to better health and happier and more prosperous times for 2021!

Past President Mark Ramsey will be chairing our meeting tomorrow night.  The meeting will be in The Deck at 6 for 6.30pm as usual. It will be purely a social evening.  A time to catch up with old and new friends and recount tales from Christmas and New Year and maybe even hear of travels near or maybe a little farther afield!
Committee meetings will not be held, but to help get the year off to a great start, could the Director of each committee please arrange a meeting if needed (in person, Zoom or email) before the first board meeting of 2021.  The board meeting will be on Monday 18th January immediately following the Club meeting.

We have a Bunnings BBQ next Saturday 16th January. John Norris is organising this.  Thank you John! Those who have volunteered will be contacted by John. Thank you to all participants. I will be at a District Leadership Board meeting that day.

Something Special for Those who Love Art!

The RC of Strathalbyn is holding a gala Fundraising Dinner to support the launch the David Dridan Arts Foundation, a wholly owned initiative of that club.

Hosted by the ABC's Peter Goers, featuring an interview with David Dryden and with music and entertainment, the dinner will be held at the beautiful Woodburn Homestead, Angas Plains via Strathalbyn.  Sure to be a great night out!

Dick and Liz Wilson will be attending and are hoping to have other art lovers join them for a good cause.

Call Jane on 0406 500 783 or Chris on 0499 902 644 to book.

The Four Way Test
Of all the things we think, say and do

Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Please support the Friends of Rotary the way they support us!
